Air Conditioning Installation Zooms In At New Distribution Centre

New-Air have successfully completed the installation of multiple air conditioning systems at a newly built distribution centre for a clothing manufacturer. We have invested in the Zoomlock tool which enables the jointing of interconnecting copper pipe services without the need for hot works onsite. The Zoomlock jointing process uses compression fittings as opposed to traditional jointing techniques which involve the use of Oxygen Free Nitrogen for purging and Oxy-Acetylene and Oxy-Propane for brazing. The tool eliminates all risks associated with hot works and also reduces time on installation due to the fact that permits, a fire watch and cool down times are no longer part of the process.

A VRF system and multiple split type air conditioning systems were installed on the site and the tool facilitated a quick turn around to fall in line with the tight project schedule.

New-Air carry out works in a number of hazardous sites to include fuel depots and refinery sites which welcome the new process, the Zoomlock tool has and will continue to help us minimise site risks whilst increasing the efficiency of our activities.
