New-Air successfully installed a replacement chiller serving a Hampshire hospital operating theatre. Due to the critical nature of the area the work needed to be coordinated to enable the operating theatres to run seamlessly. As a result; the project was completed in one day over a weekend. As part of the project we supplied a temporary chiller which was coupled to the existing chilled water pipe work with a quick turn around which prevented any down time whilst the new chiller was being manufactured. A brewery approached New-Air as a result of a faulty chiller in their large beer store area. They had been advised that the existing system required replacement and our engineers were able to verify that the existing systems were beyond economical repair. Albeit the system was already faulty, the client explained how whilst in operation they had also experienced a large temperature difference across the area due to the configuration of stacked barrels. We were approached by a key operator within Southampton docklands border control as a new facility was being built to enable the review of imported products prior to entry to the British marketplace. This facility consisted of a number of large scale, low temperature store areas and separate cold rooms where stock would be analysed. New Air successfully designed and installed a total of 11 systems across the site varying from a 32m² cold room to a 250m² freezer which needed to be maintained at a constant -25°C. We worked with a specialist controls manufacturer to design bespoke control panels to enable external control and monitoring of each of the environments.

New-Air were approached by a Portsmouth based school as they had two faulty refrigeration systems in the main kitchen, a walk in cold room and a walk in freezer. They had a restricted budget and a tight schedule to work to and had been advised by others that the existing systems were beyond economical repair and that they were in need of replacement. Our service engineers attended site to review the operation of the systems and found that the condenser units (outdoor units) were faulty on both systems.
