New-Air were employed by a hospital trust to act as Principal Contractor for the replacement of a Pharmacy Manufacturing sites Chiller. We also carried out the refurbishment of the sites Air Handling Unit (AHU). We setup site with external welfare and accommodation facilities and created a designated works area. The site was in close proximity to a railway line which meant that having explored the potential to crane the chillers from / to the site compound with the railway authorities we opted to crane the new chiller to the the permitted railway line boundary and then lift and shift these items of equipment to keep to the site schedule. New-Air have successfully completed the installation of multiple air conditioning systems at a newly built distribution centre for a clothing manufacturer. We have invested in the Zoomlock tool which enables the jointing of interconnecting copper pipe services without the need for hot works onsite. The Zoomlock jointing process uses compression fittings as opposed to traditional jointing techniques which involve the use of Oxygen Free Nitrogen for purging and Oxy-Acetylene and Oxy-Propane for brazing. The tool eliminates all risks associated with hot works and also reduces time on installation due to the fact that permits, a fire watch and cool down times are no longer part of the process. A VRF system and multiple split type air conditioning systems were installed...

New-Air successfully installed a replacement chiller serving a Hampshire hospital operating theatre. Due to the critical nature of the area the work needed to be coordinated to enable the operating theatres to run seamlessly. As a result; the project was completed in one day over a weekend. As part of the project we supplied a temporary chiller which was coupled to the existing chilled water pipe work with a quick turn around which prevented any down time whilst the new chiller was being manufactured. New-Air coordinated a contracted crane lift to crane the existing unit to grade and the new Lennox chiller was lifted to the roof area and sited upon the existing supports. The chilled water pipe services were...

Our client decided to take action and replace their old R22 air conditioning systems. The new systems offer a range of benefits to include energy efficient inverter technology resulting in savings on operating costs, quieter operation and an extended warranty to name a few. R22 refrigerant was banned for use at the end of 2014 and as a result, sites that continue to operate their old systems will experience increased operational costs. There are limited options when it comes to servicing these system in the event of a failure and in most cases the most cost effective solution is to replace the equipment. We were able to replace the existing equipment on our clients site whilst retaining the interconnecting services within the...
