Air Conditioning Installation for Aldershot Insurance Company

Air Conditioning Installation for Aldershot Insurance Company

An existing client of New-Air was moving premises into an old office building based in Aldershot.  There were existing systems at the premises which operated on R22 refrigerant which was phased out at the beginning of 2014 due to its ozone depleting properties.  The configuration of these systems didn’t meet our client’s requirements. We therefore carried out a site assessment to establish the functionality of the office areas and to enable us to calculate the heat loads within each area of the building. It was noted that there was limited space to position external condensing units to the side of the premises. We therefore selected and installed Heat Pump VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) air conditioning systems consisting of a number...

Close Control Air Conditioning in Portsmouth Docks

Close Control Air Conditioning in Portsmouth Docks

Our client had a number of invaluable historic artefacts that needed to be stored in a temperature controlled space. There was also a requirement for humidification to ensure constant levels of moisture within the sensitive environments.  We conducted a free no obligation site assessment to determine our clients’ needs.  They had a number of dilapidated warehouses onsite which presented a good opportunity to design and build bespoke storage units in the form of prefabricated cold room panels. We were able to carry out detailed heat gain calculations for equipment selection and design the storage units; working with the client to select a suitable location for the installation of equipment in line with their requirements. Up-flow close control air conditioning systems...

Refrigeration Systems at a Portsmouth School

Refrigeration Systems at a Portsmouth School

New-Air were approached by a Portsmouth based school as they had two faulty refrigeration systems in the main kitchen, a walk in cold room and a walk in freezer. They had a restricted budget and a tight schedule to work to and had been advised by others that the existing systems were beyond economical repair and that they were in need of replacement.  Our service engineers attended site to review the operation of the systems and found that the condenser units (outdoor units) were faulty on both systems. We successfully sourced replacement energy efficient condenser units which would save the client money through reduced running costs.  These units were also compatible with the existing interconnecting services, control services and evaporators...
